“The Philosophical Foundations of the Researches of Inclusive Education”, by Hryhorii Vasianovych and Olena Budnyk (2019)

An excellent article that connects the philosophical roots of personalism to its practical application in inclusive education. Written by two Ukrainian academics who explore practically applied personalism in various other papers as well. This article fills a much-needed gap in the literature, which bridges personalism as a philosophy to practical applications. Also introduces an explicit link between personalist philosophy and inclusive education. This academic link opens the door for future academics to expand on this connection, including implications for links with critical disability studies and critical analysis of education systems with the foundational conceptual framework of personalist centrality of the dignity of the human person.
